Project Reports
Project Reports provide an overview of hours worked on a project during a specific time period.
Accessing Project Reports
Project Reports can be accessed in two ways:
- From the Project page: Each project has a Reports section that lists all previously generated reports
Creating a New Report
To create a new Project Report:
- Navigate to the project page
- Select the desired date range using the date picker at the top
- Click the "+" button in the Reports card
- Confirm the creation of the report for the selected date range
Report Contents
Each Project Report includes:
Header Information
- Project Name: The name of the project
- Date Range: The period covered by the report
- Customer: The client the project is for
- PO Number: The purchase order number (if available)
- Customer Contact: The primary contact at the customer
- Project Manager: The person managing the project
Summary Statistics
- Active People: Number of team members who worked on the project
- Total Hours: Total hours logged during the period
- Total Cost: Total billable amount for the work
Visual Data
- Hours Chart: A bar chart showing hours distribution across the period
Detailed Information
- Summary Table: A breakdown of hours and costs by team member
- Hour Records: Detailed list of all time entries showing:
- Date
- Time duration
- Person who logged the time
- Description of work completed
Managing Reports
From the Project Page, you can:
- View Report: Click the eye icon to open the report in a new tab
- Delete Report: Click the trash icon to remove the report
Sharing Reports
Reports can be:
- Downloaded as PDF: Click the PDF button in the report view to download a PDF version of the report.
Important Notes
- Reports are snapshots of data at the time of creation
- Reports remain accessible even if the underlying time records are modified
- PDF report can also be downloaded from the Invoices page and on the Create Invoice page while creating an invoice.
