The Analytics dashboard offers a view of your organization's performance metrics, allowing you to analyze hours, revenue, costs, and profit across different dimensions.

Available Views

The analytics dashboard offers three main views, accessible via tabs:

• Charts: Time-series charts showing trends over time
• Table View: Tabular data listing metrics by entity
• Flow Chart: Sankey diagram visualization of data flow

Dashboard Overview

The analytics dashboard presents key performance metrics at the top:

• Total Hours: Shows the total hours tracked within the selected time period
• Total Revenue: Displays the total revenue generated
• Total Profit: Shows the calculated profit (revenue minus costs)
• Total Costs: Displays all costs associated with the tracked hours
• Profit Margin: Shows the profit margin percentage
• Active Projects: Displays the number of active projects during the period

Common Controls

These controls affect all views in the analytics dashboard:

• Date Range: Use the date picker to define your analysis period
• Show Comparison: Toggle to compare current data with a previous time period of equal length
• Project Type: Filter by All Projects, Billable, or Internal projects
• Unit: Choose to analyze Hours, Revenue, Costs, or Profit

Click on the tabs to switch between different visualization modes. Each view is designed to help you understand your data from different perspectives.
